Made from 100% recycled rubber, this dog chew and treat toy is a perfect distraction or teething aid. Shaped like a conch shell, its textured surface, irregular shape, and thick, tough rubber construction makes it great for dogs to chew. Push small treats into it and the toy will keep your dog engaged as they roll it around trying to access the goodies inside.

The shell chew and treat toy is made from GRS (Global Recycle Standard) Certified recycled rubber. It is designed by Paws the Planet – a small UK business producing seaside-themed dog products that are always sustainably and responsibly made.

The toy is approximately 14cm x 8cm in size.

Tough as these toys are, nothing is completely indestructible (as most dog owners will know). Supervise your dog’s play, and regularly check toys for damage. If a toy shows signs of damage, check to see if a small part could break off and become a choking hazard. If so, replace it immediately.

This chew and treat toy is made of thick, durable recycled rubber that is sustainable, and feels good for a dog to bite into. It can be used as a normal chew toy, or as a treat toy. It’s an all-round brilliant product.

How to get the most from this product

Use the shell toy with puppies and newly adopted dogs to help them adjust to their new environment, and for young dogs to aid with teething.

In training, this toy can help distract a dog from other behaviours or stimulae that may be less desirable. It can be used to help prevent destructive behaviours (inappropriate biting and chewing on furniture etc.) and separation anxiety. It can also help keep a dog engaged when you have to focus on other things.

When you first receive your shell toy, please wash before use. Be sure to use a treat that will fall out of the toy. If treats are stuck inside, your dog might just become frustrated.

Size guide

There are no size options for this product. The toy is approximately 14cmx8cm so may be better suited for medium-to-larger dogs, eg breeds from terriers upto labradors. It may be too big for smaller and toy breeds such as Chihuahuas and Shi-Tzus. Consider your dog’s size and chewing habits when purchasing.

Your shell chew toy will be dispatched within five working days of order. If there is a stock issue or you have ordered other items with which there is an issue, we will contact you. If you are not satisfied with shell toy, or if the product (but not the packaging) is damaged in dispatch, please contact us within 14 days of receipt with details (including photos if appropriate) and we will process a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
