Costs can be affected by the condition of a dog’s coat. If the coat is severely matted, every effort will be made to brush it out, but clipping may be required. We may only know which once we actually see your dog.
If your dog is found to have fleas there will be an additional £10 charge for the application of medicated flea shampoo and for decontaminating the grooming environment and equipment.
Any changes in the price originally agreed will be advised by phone or text before treatment takes place.
By booking, you agree to inform Clipsters of any health issues your dog may have; it may not prevent grooming from being undertaken but helps us to make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible during their treatment and we’re as prepared as we can be.
We will always conduct a pre-groom consultation. Your dog’s safety, wellbeing and comfort is paramount to us. In the highly unlikely event that your dog becomes agitated or aggressive, we reserve the right not complete treatment but will still charge a fee for time taken, products used etc. We will inform you by phone or text should this be the case.
If you need to cancel or re-arrange an appointment Clipsters will try to accommodate you, but if you contact us less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment we will have to charge a fee as we will not be able to fill the time slot and/or it may impact on other bookings.
