Grooming costs & services
Clipsters offer all levels of dog and puppy grooming services, for all types and size of dog, in the Waltham Forest area of London.
Below are guideline costs for the different types of dog grooming services we provide. Please be aware that all of the costs are guidelines and are dependent on the condition and length of your dog’s coat, the time since they were last groomed, and other factors. Sometimes, a cost may not be agreed upon until your dog is seen in person.

OTHER GROOMING SERVICES
Puppies (first time groom upto 5 months old) & nervous dogs
Clipsters specialise in first-time grooms and working with nervous dogs. These sessions can take longer and may sometimes need to be broken into two visits to avoid distressing your dog. We may suggest a quick introductory visit where no grooming takes place. This is for your dog explore the space and become accustomed to the equipment, sounds and smells. Price for puppies’ (upto 5 months old) first time groom – from £30 (subsequent visits will increase in cost and will be discussed after the first visit).
Hand stripping (eg. for border terriers and wire-haired breeds)
from £55 (depending on size)
Special ones (those dogs that need even more care and attention because of their breed, hair type and so on)

Your dog's grooming sessionimportant information - please read
The outlined costs for dog grooming are guideline costs only and can be affected by the condition of the dog’s coat, temperament and other factors. If a coat is severely matted, every effort will be made to brush it out, but clipping may be required.
If your dog is found to have fleas there will be an additional £10 charge for application of medicated flea shampoo and decontaminating the grooming environment and equipment. Any changes in the price originally quoted will be advised by phone or text before treatment takes place.
By booking, you agree to inform Clipsters of any health issues your dog may have; it may not prevent grooming from being undertaken but helps us to make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible during their treatment.
Your dog’s safety, wellbeing and comfort is paramount to us. In the highly unlikely event that your dog becomes agitated or aggressive, we reserve the right to not complete the treatment/session, but will still charge for time taken, products used etc. We will inform you by phone or text should this be the case.
An important note on cancellations:
We try to be as flexible as possible, but we are very busy. If you need to cancel or change your Clipsters appointment, please let us know at least 48 hours beforehand. Letting us know less than 48 hours before your appointment will incur a charge of upto 100% of the expected grooming cost.
