Clipsters is run by Charlotte.

After fifteen years working in education as a teacher and a manager, Charlotte retrained in dog grooming and care. She gained her Level 3 City & Guilds qualification and started her own business, Clipsters.

Clipsters operate from a dedicated, clean, purpose-built grooming room with professional-grade, specialised bath, drying and grooming equipment (from the excellent Christies Direct).

We focus entirely on dog grooming, working with only one dog at a time so they get Charlotte’s complete attention. We don’t offer day care, walking or shop services so your dog (and their groomer) won’t be distracted or disturbed. This makes Clipsters especially suited for first-time puppy visits and nervous dogs.

Clipsters are based in Walthamstow, near Wood Street and Hale End Road. We can be easily reached from Highams Park and Chingford as well as Leyton and Woodford. In addition to all of our dog grooming services we offer a limited collection and drop-off service in the Waltham Forest area. Contact Clipsters for details.

After a successful couple of years with Clipsters, Charlotte also gained a certificate in dog training (with a distinction) from the Dog Training College. Clipsters will soon be offering training sessions and classes for dogs and their guardians.

Charlotte is ably assisted at Clipsters by Simon who does all the non-doggy stuff like the website and the forthcoming Dogsters dog product retail site. Ironically he is allergic to dog hair (but Charlotte didn’t know that when they met…)

Clipsters support and uphold the Pet Industry Federation’s Pet Grooming code of conduct and abide by the Animal Welfare Act and its 5 Welfare Needs.
